今年2月から7月までオーストラリアで開催された『continuum展』が7月2日に終了しました。本展では、シドニー工科大学のデボラ・ザピロさんがオーストラリア作品／私は日本の作品をキュレーションし、日本とオーストラリア合同の展示会を国際交流基金シドニーにて行いました。シドニーのYurika Sugieさん、Susan Buiさんに1番の感謝を捧げます。山村浩二さん、木山瑞嬉さん、ソン ヨンソンさん、副島しのぶさん、宮嶋龍太郎さんのマスター・ピースがオーストラリアにて長く公開されたこと、感謝です。
Continuum: Independent Animation From Japan And Australia
The “continuum exhibition” held in Australia from February to July this year has come to an end. For this exhibition, Ms. Deborah Zapiro of the University of Technology Sydney curated Australian independent animation and I curated Japanese works, and we had a joint Japan-Australia exhibition at the Japan Foundation, Sydney. I would like to thank Yurika Sugie and Susan Bui of the Japan Foundation Sydney for their support. I am grateful that Koji Yamamura, Mizuki Kiyama, Yungsung Song, Shinobu Soejima, and Ryutaro Miyajima’s truly wonderful masterpieces have been on view in Australia for so long.
